Admissions

Admission to The Montessori School of Holmes Run begins with an observation of the program.  Parents are invited to spend part of a morning in a class to help in understanding how our environments foster learning.  After the observation, a staff member will be available to answer any questions you have.

Once you have completed an application and visit, your child will be invited to spend a day in class if applying to the Upper School, or to meet with a teacher if applying to the Children’s House.  These interviews are a chance for the teachers to work with your child and assess his or her readiness for the program.  After the interview, a teacher will be available to talk with you about your child’s experience.   You will receive a letter in the mail of your child’s acceptance.

“ One test of the correctness of educational procedure is the happiness of the child.”
