A Community School The Montessori School of Holmes Run opened in September of 1973 in its present location in the Friendship United Methodist Church on Gallows Road in Falls Church. In the fall of 1995, the parent company, Designs for Early Learning, Inc., purchased the Falls Church Children’s House of Montessori (FCCH.) The Children’s House was established in 1970 on an acre of land adjacent to Fairfax County’s Roundtree Park, on Annandale Road between Gallows Road and Route 50. The two schools are a mile apart. Both schools are affiliated with the American Montessori Society. Children are admitted to the school without regard to race, religion, sex or national origin. |
